About SETCO
An independent third-party testing firm founded by test technicians.
NETA Accredited Company
NETA accreditation applies to the company. It recognizes SETCO as an independent testing organization that meets NETA's requirements, including technicians who hold NETA certification and test equipment that is calibrated and traceable to NIST.
Technician certification is separate: individual SETCO technicians earn NETA certification at their own level (I through IV), which shows they are trained and experienced to perform the tests. Together they mean accredited company, certified technicians.
Our testing follows the industry standards published by NETA, ANSI/NETA ATS for acceptance testing and ANSI/NETA MTS for maintenance testing, as applicable to the equipment and the customer's specification.
SETCO is an independent third-party entity that functions as an unbiased testing authority, professionally and financially independent of manufacturers, suppliers, and installers of equipment or the systems being evaluated.
SETCO is a NETA Accredited Company. Our NETA-certified technicians, performing these electrical tests and inspections, are trained and experienced concerning the apparatus and systems being evaluated, and capable of conducting tests in a safe manner and with complete knowledge of the hazards involved, including all applicable NFPA 70E and OSHA 29 CFR 1910 requirements. We use state-of-the-art test equipment, calibrated annually and traceable to the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST).
Located in Indianapolis, Indiana, SETCO works wherever the work is needed. Our technicians travel to customer sites across Indiana and beyond.
